What I offer

Function and movement are the starting point.

As a student practitioner, I offer treatment based on a careful assessment of each dog's function and movement.

Every treatment is tailored to the dog in front of me and may include massage, trigger-point treatment and gentle mobilisation within my current competence. The aim is to support the dog's function and mobility.

My background

Professional development, grounded in life with dogs.

I am a student at Nordisk Heste- og Hundeterapiskole (NHT) .

I am training as a canine massage therapist, with further education in joint adjustment and mobilisation. In my student practice, I work with the dog's muscles and joints through massage and gentle mobilisation.

How it works

One dog. Three steps. An individual consultation.

Every consultation starts with the dog's needs and what you, as the owner, can tell me.

  1. 01

    Assessment

We review the dog's history and look at its current movement patterns.

  2. 02

    Palpation

I carry out a thorough physical check of the muscles, joints, and trigger points.

  3. 03

    Treatment

The dog receives massage and trigger-point treatment, with mobilisation when appropriate.

Massage and mobilisation may be used as supportive measures for muscle tension and stiffness and as part of individually adapted care.

  • Less tensionMay help reduce muscular tension and stiffness.
  • Elasticity and movementMay support elasticity and mobility.
  • CirculationMay be used with the aim of supporting local blood and lymphatic circulation.
  • Training and recoveryMay form part of tailored care around activity and rest.

Safety first

A veterinarian comes first when illness or injury is suspected.

If lameness or illness is suspected, a veterinarian must always be contacted before treatment.

Treatment with me does not replace veterinary examination, diagnosis, or medical treatment. When there is any uncertainty, we clarify the right next step before a consultation.
